4. Actions arising from the Law on Negotiable Instruments and Cheques.

DEPARTMENT OF TAX LAWS

1. Consultation, legal opinions, advice and information, both private and by means of Circulars and Bulletins.
2. Communication, in any of its forms, with the relevant State, Autonomous Community and Local Corporation authorities.
3. Advice and defense in proceedings and with the dossiers arising therefrom, particularly those relative to Tax Inspections.
4. Drawing up of declarations, personal tax liquidations and monitoring of all manner of State, Autonomous and Municipal taxation.
5. Remission of sanctions.
6. Examination of Government documents: Special appeals for revision, rehabilitation and economic/administrative claims. Appeals against Autonomous Community and Local Corporation resolutions.
7. Appeals against contentious-administrative law proceedings and resolutions which have exhausted administrative channels.
8. Representation of foreign persons and entities in Spain.

DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION LAW

1. Foreign investments in Spain and Spanish investments abroad.
2. Matters concerning the Exchange Control Law.
3. Formalities and Licenses for start up, transfer and expansion of companies.
4. Administrative and Contentious-Administrative appeals.
5. Administrative formalities for contracts involving transfer of technology and technical assistance.

DEPARTMENT OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

The role of this Department is to maintain relations with correspondents in the different countries of the European Economic Community, the Swiss Confederation, and Institutions of the European Communities.

DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL PRIVATE AND ADMINISTRATIVE LAW

All matters relative to Civil, Criminal and Administrative Law in general, and other legal specialities are handled, under our supervision, through our external legal experts.
